25th Annual Roskruge Cougar Classic Basketball Tourney

James Molina scored 10 points to lead the Davis Eagles to a 33-19 win over the Holladay Redhawks in the championship game of the 5th-grade and under co-ed division at the 25th Annual Roskruge Cougar Classic at Pueblo High School Saturday night.
It was the third consecutive appearance for Davis in the Cougar Classic championship game and the second straight title for the Eagles, coached by Chris Loya and Daniel Mejia.
Davis also won the 5th-grade and under girls’ division championship with a 28-25 victory over Holladay. Alexis Cortez led Davis with 13 points. Holladay’s Jessica Chamberlain scored 12 points.
Josh Pishke led Booth-Fickett to a 39-33 come-from-behind victory finishing with 12 points as the Falcons defeated the Roskruge Pumas in the final game of the
6th-grade and under co-ed division. Brett Tucci scored 11 points and combined with Pishke to go 7 for 9 in the second half at the free throw line to spark the comeback.
The Pistor Panthers went overtime to defeat Roskruge, 15-11, and take the title in the 6th-grade and under girls’ division. Emily Ramonett scored eight points to lead Pistor.
